Toolbar Features • Grayscale View button: This button toggles between grayscale and color view in Normal View in PowerPoint. To activate grayscale view, click the Grayscale View button, and then click the space surrounding the slide to switch to grayscale view.
To restore color, click the Grayscale View button, and then click in the space surrounding the slide. Switching to grayscale view does not affect colors when running slide shows or when printing in color. Switching to grayscale view activates the Grayscale Settings button on the toolbar and also activates GrayScale Settings options in the pop-up menu you see when you right-click on a picture. Grayscale View affects the following PowerPoint views: • Normal • Slide • Slide Sorter • Notes Page • Grayscale Settings button: This button is active only when the Grayscale View button is toggled to display Normal View in Grayscale. To use the settings, select one or more pictures, then click the Grayscale Settings button to choose a grayscale setting from the pop-up menu, or right-click on a selected picture and choose from the Grayscale settings in the pop-up menu. Grayscale settings affect the way a picture looks when displayed using the Grayscale View toggle, and when printing in grayscale.
